Do not make thumbnails of the images; use either the width= or height= attributes of the img tag
(but not both ... the browser will figure the other one out and retain aspect ratio).
Reconfigure sizes of all images in Photoshop, so they will load faster.
- This should involve only reducing the image size (using bicubic sharper) to the largest size we will use in either a blog or a Google Earth tour.
- Weed out suspicious-for-virus images that have trouble loading, in the course of this project.
- Therefore, the first step is to put them in a quarantine file folder.
